Prasadarian by Suchandra dasi

Prasadarian is about vegetarian food which is nicely prepared and then offered with love to Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. We first ask for the help of a bonafide pure devotee of Krishna to offer it. Then it is offered to Gaur Radha Krishna. The remnant "Prasadam" (literally meaning mercy) is offered to Srila Gurudev. After it is offered to the Guru all the devotees honor the sanctified and transcendental prasadam.

Prasadam is non different from Krishna Himself. It is transcendentalised. Therefore when we take prasadam with love and faith, it has the power to give Krishna Prema. The glories of prasadam are endless. When honored with faith, it cures all diseases of the body, mind and spirit. It is the mercy of God in the form of food. Krishna can eat with His eyes and leave the prasadam in tact for us to take. But there have been many recorded instances where, there was so much love in the offering, that Krishna personally came and ate the offering!
